The Olympics is an amazing display of people pushing their edge; redefining what is possible for themselves, as they hurtle down mountains, launch themselves off a ski jump or down a tube of ice.
We everyday people are more familiar with a different kind of edge. An edge that defines what we’ll tolerate (“I’ve had about as much of this as I’ll take…”), or what we think we can handle (I’m overwhelmed”), or how much we trust in our ability (“I don’t think I can do this”).
Here at these edges is your chance. What are you going to do? Stop? Retreat? Push forward boldly? Move forward cautiously? Is it scary? Fun? Exhilarating?
What if you pushed that boundary and there was no failure but only learning. Pride. Confidence. Self respect. Adaptation (aka Change).
Are you playing at your edge or lulled by easy? Are are you pushing your boundaries and exploring what’s possible?
We welcome you to our community, where we’ve decided that easy will no longer suffice. We won’t push you over your edge; that’s your step to take. But we’re happy to help you find it. And you won’t be alone. You’ll love what you’re capable of. If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you.
